酵素の比活性の低下
幾つかの酵素において、老化に伴う比活性の低下が報告されています。
その原因については、色々な可能性が考えられますが、翻訳後の修飾や酸化変性によって生じた不活性な酵素が、分解除去されずに残るためではないかと考えられています。
