TMIG Proteome Database of TIG-3 for Cellular Aging Research

TIG-3: normal human diploid fibroblast cell strain

The cell strain TIG-3, which was established in our institute, shows the finite life span up to 70-80 population doubling levels (PDLs). The cell strain has been widely used for researches on molecular mechanisms of replicative cell aging and immortalization. The preparation of our 2-D gel-based proteome database was intended for promoting proteomic researches on cellular aging. (Toda T, Kaji K, Kimura N.
